Evaluate:(i) \((\frac{4}{7})^3\)(ii) \((\frac{10}{11})^3\)(iii) \((\frac{1}{15})^3\)(iv) \((1\frac{3}{10})^3\)

Answer»

(i) \((\frac{4}{7})^3\)

By multiplying we get,

= \((\frac{4}{7}\times\frac{4}{7}\times\frac{4}{7})\)

= \((\frac{64}{343})\)

So, cube of \(\frac{4}{7}\) is \(\frac{64}{343}\)

(ii) \((\frac{10}{11})^3\)

Multiplying the given number three times we get,

= \((\frac{10}{11}\times\frac{10}{11}\times\frac{10}{11})\)

= \((\frac{1000}{1331})\)

(iii) \((\frac{1}{15})^3\)

Multiplying the given number three times we get,

= \((\frac{1}{15}\times\frac{1}{15}\times\frac{1}{15})\)

= \((\frac{1}{3375})\)

(iv) \((1\frac{3}{10})^3\)

Multiplying the given number three times we get,

= \((\frac{13}{10})^3\)

= \((\frac{13}{10}\times\frac{13}{10}\times\frac{13}{10})\)

= \((\frac{2197}{1000})\)
