(II) Before the Renaissance period, the church was the supreme authority. People had COMPLETE faith in the authority of the church. But in the Renaissance period, rational thinking and logical thought were dominant. (iii) It brought about new ideologies in art and literature. Art and literature began to prosper and REACHED at its glory. Intellectuals and philosophers attacked on the social norms of the society through their writings. Many painters showed the EVILS of society through their paintings. |
