Primary sector deals with the utilisation of natural resources like mining, fishing, cultivation etc.

Secondary sector uses the products from the primary sector to convert them into the finished goods. 

This sector is also called agriculture and related sector as most of the natural products are obtained from agriculture, dairy, fishing and forestry.

As manufacturing and processing of raw materials takes place in this sector, this sector is also known as industrial sector.

The products of the primary sector form the base for the secondary sector.

The finished products of this sector directly reach the consumers.
