Distinguish between Potential and developed resources?

Answer» Potential resources are resources\xa0which exist in a region and which\xa0can\xa0be used in the future. For example:- Mineral oil may exist in many parts of India where sedimentary rocks\xa0are\xa0found but till it is actually drilled out and put into use, it remains a\xa0potential resource.\xa0Actual\xa0resources\xa0are coal,Water, petrol\xa0Potential resources\xa0are uranium in Ladakh etc. actual\xa0resource\xa0are\xa0resources\xa0whose quantity is known and are used in present.eg black soil in maharashtra .\xa0potential resources\xa0are\xa0resources\xa0whose quantity is not known and are not used in present.eg uranium in ladakh.\xa0Developed resource\xa0include coal , petroleum , iron , river etc.. their quantity and quality had been determined and their use had been also started.\xa0Developed\xa0resources\xa0have been properly measured in terms of quantity and quality for utilization.
Potential resources-the resources which are not yet being used or which are still in preliminary stage are potential resources.With new researches in technology and advancement of skill in future,it would be possible to develop the potential resourcesDevoloped resources- the resources which have been developed by man for use and which are being utilized are actual resources.Minerals,resources used in food articles,conventional energy resources,cattle.,etc are actual resources.
