Solution :AGRICULTURE was carried in the same pattern as in the ancienttimes. Little chage in the method of cultivation and agricultural implements.
(i) Monsoon was considered as the backbone of Indian agricultureas it being even today. Agriculturewas labourintensive . Peasants used technology which harnessedthe cattlepower.
(ii)The WOODEN plough thatwas light and could easily be assembled, with an iron or coulterwasused.
(iii) The iron TIP of plough hadthe profit of not making deep furrowshelped retain moistureof the soil during summer months.
(iv)The drill by a pair of giant oxen was used to plant seeds but broadcasting of seed was the most PREVALENT pattern.

(vii) In Akbar.s rule irrigation projects were assisted by state. The state took in digging of new canals (nahar,nala) and repaired, maintainedold once as Shahnahr in Punjab during Shah Jahan reign
(viii)Inspite of extensive expansion in agriculture and introduction ofnew crops,by and large increase in ago production was slow .
