If I would have found a injured bird while returning from school I would pic it and the poor little thing to my home.I would first aid the bird and I'll take care of it till it gets cured completely. Then I would leave it to go back and fly in the sky.

The best thing to do if you find an injured bird, or other injured animal, is to call a local rehabilitation center (such as aark.org). If the bird is in immediate danger (such as on a road), you could try to gently coax or move it. If you must move it, you can try covering it gently with a sheet, pillow case or thin towel, then gently lift it. Otherwise, leave it alone and wait for instruction from your rehabilitators.my experience = I found an injured crow before. It’s wing was broken and it couldn’t fly. I took it into my apartment and called a local wildlife facility that is sort of like a very small zoo/rehabilitation center. They told me they would take it and to not feed it, only give it water. The next day I drove the crow out there and they took care of the rest! Good luck! Be careful and give it space! It is wild after all :)
