Answer» The constitution of India provides for a federal SYSTEM of government due to this there is a division of legislative and ADMINISTRATIVE POWER between the central and state governments.It divides all the subjects and matters into 3 lists:-Union list,State list and Concurrent list. Constitution has three main functions. First it creates a national government consisting of a legislative, an executive, and a judicial branch, with a system of checks and balances among the three branches. SECOND, it divides power between the federal government and the states. federal system of government, such as in the United States, divides power and responsibilities between the national government and state governments. At first GLANCE, the U.S. Constitution appears to make this division clear. |
