The differences between seasonal hunger and chronic hunger are as follows:-1) Seasonal hunger is associated with cycles of food growing and harvesting. On the other hand, chronic hunger is a result of people not getting food in terms of quality and quantity.2) Seasonal hunger is widespread in rural areas due to seasonal nature of agriculture and in urban areas due to casual labour. People suffer from chronic hunger mostly in rural areas due to their low income and their inability to buy food for survival.3) Seasonal hunger occurs year after year while chronic hunger continues for a long time leading to death.
Seasonal hunger is related to cycle of food growing and harvesting whereas chronic hunger is a consequence of diets persistently inadequate in terms of quality. People suffer from seasonal hunger in rural areas because of seasonal nature of agricultural activities and because of causal labour in the urban areas whereas poor people suffer from chronic hunger because of very low income and thereby inability to buy food even for survival.
