Answer» Nuclear fission means when heavy atom like uranium split into two nucleus (two parts)then it called nuclear fission . Nuclear fusion mean when two lighter atom combined together to make heavy atom then is called nuclear fusion Nuclear fission occurs when a heavy atom splits into Lighter atoms and fusion occurs when light atoms combine to form heavy one. Nuclear fission occurs when a heavy atom splits into lighters any fusion occurs when light ( not heavy) combine to form heavy one. |
