I don't think there is any difference between those two... A line graph is a graph which is used to represent data that CHANGES CONTINUOUSLY with time. On the other hand, if the line graph is such that the lines drawn [in the line graph] from one whole un broken STRAIGHT line , then i is called a LINEAR graph.
