Difference between covalent bond and ionic bond? |
|
Answer» Thanks Sudhanshu and utsav. Are yar aaj is que. Ka ans.. KAR kar ke thak gaya hun chalo phir bhi try karta hun..Ionic bond :: transferring of electrons, have high melting and boiling point.,, conduct electricity,, intermolecular force of attractions are strong.Covent bond:: sharing of electrons,, have low melting and boiling point,, don\'t conduct electricity and lastly intermolecular force of attractions are weak. Ionic bond is the complete transfer of valence electron(shell) between atoms which generates two oppositely charged. It is the chemical bond for dissimilar atoms whereas Covalent bonding is a form of chemical bonding between two non metallic atoms |
