Development programmes have not been effective for remomng poverty. Give reason. |

Answer» Government has implemented many development programmes for removing poverty. But these programmes along cannot remove poverty. They need coordination with many other factors. For example, over and above these programmes, the inequalities of income should be reduced, public distribution system has to be made effective, literacy must be increased and superstitions and blind beliefs must decrease. When the above things do not occur, the benefits of development programmes are enjoys only by rich and literate. Because of all these reasons, development programmes have not been effective for removing poverty. |
