NREGA 2005 provides 100 days assured employment every year to every rural household in 200 districts.Later it was extended to 600 districts.One third of the proposed jobs would be reserved for women.Under the program if an applicant is not provided employment with in fifteen days he will be entitled to a daily unemployment allowance.
According to NREGA government will provide 100 days assured employment to the people
