| Answer» fertilisation occurs when the male gamete present in pollen grains joins with the female gamete persent in ovule then the male gamete moves down the pollen tube then the pollen tube enters the ovule in the ovary.the tip of pollen tube burst opens and male gamete comes out of pollen tube. then in ovary the male gamete egg present in ovule to form a fertilised egg called zygote. then after fertilisation the zygote divides several times to form an embroy within the ovule. then the ovule developes a tough coat and then converted into seed. then the ovary grows rapidly and riepens to form a fruit the other part of flower like speals peteals stamen etc.dry up and fall off this is fertilisation process in plant | |
