Birsa Munda was a charismatic leader of the Munda .He was born on 15 November 1875, at Ulihatu in Bengal Presidency, now in the khunti district of Jharkhand. His father name was Sugna Munda. And his mother name was Karmi Hatu Munda. Birsa Munda's achievements are even more remarkable for having been accomplished before the age of 25. His portrait hangs in the Indian Parliament Museum, he is the only tribal leader to have been so honored. He was died 9 June 1900.
