Various essential components of an office are: 

1. Office Building – 

After the location, the most useful thing while considering a business is its office building. The office building must be attractive, clean. neat and facilitative, so that the customers might get attracted towards it. It should be airy, lighted and should contain all the facilities. Proper seating facilities should also be there for the customers. 

2. Departmentation – 

In an office, there are various seperate departments where the distribution of work is done. The functional form of the office emerges only by departmentation. 

3. Equipment – 

By office equipment, the efficiency of the staff is enhanced. These devices can be both traditional and modern. Traditional devices are those which have been used for a long time, but due to the development of modern technology in the office. many new types of devices have come, which have been prevalent for the past 25 years, such as computers, scanners, etc. 

4. Clerical Staff – 

Clerical staff is present in the office for the collection, administration and conservation of records. These records can be called the foundation of the office because most of them work on the instructions of the higher authorities.

7. Working Conditions – 

Work conditions are created through time, convenience and arrangement. This includes the time off work in the office, availability of personnel and other related conditions.
