Answer» humans have HOLOZOIC of nutrition and digestion is the 2nd step of it. when the food enters our mouth and chewed saliva is mixed with it which breaks carbohydrates. then food enters stomach where hcl acts on pepsin to activate it and digestion of protein take place simlarly FATS are also BROKEN into its small units. partial digestion takes place in stomach. food enters in duodenum which is a part of small intestine. here the food is digested completely. then in ilium part of small intestine many villus cells are present which INCREASES the surface are of abaorption. then food is assimipated and ised by body and extra facal matter enters in large intestine and then to rectum and then defecation takes place through anus hope it helps u
