Define Resistivity and state SI unit does it its value with temperature

Answer»

Heya!!

Resistivity is the property of a material through which it opposes the FLOW of current.

SI unit is rho

→ where,

R = rho L/A

rho = RA/L

→ For metals ... resistivity increases with increase in temperature

→ for SEMICONDUCTORS... it's value decreases with increase in temperature.

hope it helps!!
