Answer» The chemical bond formed by sharing of electrons between two atoms is known as covalent bond Bonds formed by equal sharing of electrons by 2 or more combining atoms The chemical bond which is formed by the sharing of electrons between two atoms is known as covalent bond. Atoms which have the tendency to share electrons .When sharing of electrons happen between two elements then it is said to be covalent bond. Eg- H2 H - contain 1 electron So to complete its valence shell it needs 1 more electron So now it will share its one electron with another H atom Then 2H atoms both will have 2electrons which will complete valence shell of both the atoms The bond which they share is covalent bond |
