Answer» In the year 1950-51, food grain production was 51 million ton which in the year 2013-14 became 264 million tons. Grain yield has also increased and is approximately 2125 kg per hectare. In the year 2012 country had 82 million ton of food grains in the buffer stock which itself is a record. This shows that country has become self-dependent. |
