Answer» Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia started a movement called Civil Disobedience. Dr. Lohia and Dr. T.B. Kunha were arrested and sent to jail. Dr. Kunha was sent to Portugal for 8 years imprisonment. After returning to India he started the newspapers, ‘Azad Goa’ and ‘Swatantra Goa’. Both these leaders have contributed a lot to the freedom of Goa.
