You said equal mass of Helium, since the MOLECULAR weight of He is double that of H2, this means you have twice as many H2 molecules as Helium. Everything ELSE being equal, HALF of the molecules will then give you half of the pressure in this case 1 atm of Helium.

The trap here it that you base on weight instead of molecules. If the number of molecules were the same, then the pressure WOULD be the same too but the mass of He would then be double.
