I cannot give the construction but can give steps..

since 8 cm, 6cm and 10CM are a Pythagorean triplet...ie

8²+6²=10²

64+36=100

so you can take base as ab or ac..

suppose you take base as ab

  • draw ab=8cm
  • draw a right angle at a where angle cab=90..by construction (for 90° draw an arc at a with a CONSIDERABLE radius and them draw 90° by first constructing 60 then 120 then bisecting these angles..)
  • join the angle cab to point A
  • cut an arc of 6cm..this would be ac=6cm..
  • the point c would be joined to point A..GIVING bc=10cm
  • use scale to confirm the measurements..
