| Answer» Miss Anne Sullivan was Helen\'s instructor,teacher sent from Perkins institute for the blind. She was sent to teach Helen, who was deaf and blind. As a teacher, miss Sullivan was extremely patient and tolerant with Helen. She knew the problems a child without sight and hearing must be facing and was aware of the psychology of such a person. She handled Helen sensitively but firmly. When Helen got frustrated and threw tantrums, miss Sullivan dealt each incident in a practical way. She knew that Helen wanted and accordingly taught her to communicate with the people around her. Miss Sullivan made Helen confident by making her self dependent.A teacher like her way not only the guiding force for Helen but a true friend,companoin and a mother like figure. Miss Sullivan\'s selfless nature, dedication and determination, matched with Helen\'s eagerness to learn, were the reasons for Helen\'s wonderful achievements. | |
