Answer» Superswelling acrylamide (AAm)/maleic acid (MA) hydrogels were prepared by free RADICAL polymerization in aqueous solution of AAm with MA as comonomer with some multifunctional crosslinkers such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate and 1, 4-butanediol dimethacrylate.
