| Answer» Griffin is a brilliant scientist but without any morals or sense of humanity. That is why everyone who comes in contact with him suffers. His father commits suicide to save the humiliation as the money was not his, but Griffin has no remorse and he doesn\'t even try to save his father\'s character getting assassinated among people. Next, he tortures his landlord who has got suspicion on Griffin after seeing him getting invisible. His intrusion troubles Griffin a lot he sets the house on fire and escapes from there. He robs two shops in London to get money and clothes to hide his invisibility, before running away to a village named Iping. There he robs the village Vicar of his cash to pay his bills. He scares Mrs. Hall, his landlady, out of her wits by his antics, as she thinks that her furniture is haunted. While in Port Stowe, he loots the money wherever he is able to lay his hand. Next, while he is running away from the police, he murders an old and helpless man Mr. Wicksteed. Thus Griffin is an unscrupulous person who wants to rule the world as a despot.
