Answer» ACTUALLY cell membranes are semi permiable for allowance of only the water molecules inside and no solute. Endosmosis occurs when water covering the cell from its outside REGION is more dilute than tha SOLUTION in the cell.(Endo=in flow) EXOSMOSIS occurs when the SITUATION is exactly opposite.
