1.

Cell in G0 phase :(1) exit the cell cycle(2) enter the cell cycle(3) suspend the cell cycle(4) terminate the cell cycle

Answer»

According to NTA official Answer key The answer will be

(3) suspend the cell cycle

Correct option: (1) exit the cell cycle

Explanation:

Cells in G0 phase are said to exit cell cycle. These are at quiescent stage and do not proliferate unless called upon to do so.

Answer is suspend same question was asked in wbjee 2009

The G0 phase of the cell cycle represents the cells that exit from the cell cycle, the causes for this situation may be natural behaviour of the cells as a result of reaching its limit in number of divisions ( Hayflick limits ) and become senescent cells, and may be the cause of this situation abnormal result from mutation in genes that control the cell division, some of the mutation that thought cause cancer and another may be cause quiescent cells.

The answer for this will be exit the cell cycle. Cells in Go phase exit out of the G1 phase to enter into the quiscent stage. Go is not the part of cell cycle. The cell cycle is itself G1-S-G2-M phase. The question is asked 10 years before and the ncert is updated now !So it will be exit
