1.

Can you tell me difference between evaporation and vaporization

Answer»

Evaporation is the process of a substance in a liquid state changing to a gaseous state due to an INCREASE in temperature and/or pressure.
Evaporation can happen at any time since the liquid MOLECULES absorb energy from the surroundings and change to gaseous form, cooling the area from where it evaporated.

Vaporization is the process phase change from liquid to gas state but above the BOILING point of the liquid. Vaporization can only happen if the liquid is BOILED above its boiling point.
