Can any one explain me why phosphorus has two valencies |

Answer» Thanxx bro...jaldi me mistake ho gye Mr.lovely atomic no.of phosphorus is 15 and not 16 So valency will be 3....... Extremely sorry atomic number of phosphorus is 15........sorry Heey phosphorus don\'t have 2 valency but it have 3 valency As we know that atomic number of phosphorus is - 16 So its electronic configuration - 2,8,6 It needs 2 more electron to become stable.....so it\'s valency will be 2......non metal |
