1.

Briefly explain both the given laws1. Dalton's law of partial pressure2. Avagadro's law

Answer»

1. Dalton's law of partial pressure- According to this law when MIXTURE of GASES are kept in a CONTAINER then the partial pressure will be EQUAL to the sum of individual partial pressure of each gas when they were in the same container alone.

Like for 'n' number of gases

Partial \: Pressure = P_{1} + P_{2} + ......P_{n}

2. Avagadro's law- According this law under the SIMILAR condition of pressure and temperature all the gases of equal volume will have same number of molecule.

PV = nRT

n = \frac{PV}{RT} \\ n = \frac{N}{N_{A}}
