a) Valency: The no. of electrons present in an atom at the OUTERMOST shell is called it's Valency.

b) Atomic SIZE: The atomic radius of a chemical element is a MEASURE of the size of its atoms, usually the mean or typical distance from the center of the nucleus to the boundary of the surrounding cloud of electrons. 

C)*Mettalic : Refers to the level of reactivity of a metal. 

*Nonmetallic: RELATES to the tendency to accept electrons during chemical reactions.
