Positive thigmotrophic movement : movement of plant in response to touch or any other physical contact. eg- MIMOSA pudica. Positive hydrotrphic movement: Movement in the direction of water. eg- growth of roots towards water. Negative geotrophic movement: movement of plant opposite to the response for gravity. eg- growth of plant (SHOOT) in UPWARDS direction.
