Answer» e brain has three main parts: the cerebrum, cerebellum and brainstem. Cerebrum: is the largest part of the brain and is composed of right and left hemispheres. It PERFORMS higher functions like interpreting touch, vision and hearing, as well as speech, reasoning, emotions, learning, and fine control of movement. The cerebellum (which is Latin for “little brain”) is a major structure of the hindbrain that is located near the brainstem. This part of the brain is RESPONSIBLE for coordinating voluntary movements. It is also responsible for a number of functions INCLUDING motor SKILLS such as balance, coordination, and posture. Eye The outermost layer, known as the fibrous tunic, is composed of the cornea and sclera , which provide shape to the eye and support the deeper structures. The middle layer, known as the vascular tunic or uvea, consists of the choroid, ciliary body, pigmented epithelium and iris. EarThe ear has external, middle, and inner portions. The outer ear is called the pinna and is made of ridged cartilage covered by skin. Sound funnels through the pinna into the external AUDITORY canal, a short tube that ends at the eardrum (tympanic membrane).Thank you |
