Bond energy of 1 mole of Cl-Cl bonds `=58.0` kcal
For PRODUCT
Energy of formation of 2 moles of F-Cl bond `=2XX x`
(where x is the bond formation energy of F-Cl bonds in kcal/mole)
Adding all the HEAT changes , we get `DeltaH` of the given reaction i.e.,
`36.6+58+2xx x=-26.6`
`x=-60.6`kcal
Thus, the bond energy of `F-Cl` bonds is `+60.6` kcal per mole.
