Bholi was neglected child because all children of ram lal were beautiful and healthy but bholi was niether beautiful nor intelligent. In her childhood she suffered from small pox due to which she has pox marks on her face. And once when she was two months old she fell off from cot Which adversely affected her brain.so she was not intelligent. All people in the village called her bholi the simpleton.
