Answer» Solution :When toluene is TREATED with solution of chromyl chloride `(CrO_(2)Cl_(2))` in `Cs_(2)`, brown chromium complex is obtained, which on ACID hydrolysis gives BENZALDEHYDE. This reactiion is called Etard reaction.
