ELECTRIC CURRENT:-
1. Electric current can be defined as amount of CHARGE flowing through any cross-section of a substance in a unit time. 2. Types of electric current:- i) Steady Direct Current. ii) Varying or Variable Direct Current. iii) Alternating current. 3. Application:- i) It is USED in our homes. ii) It is used in the factories.
ELECTRICITY:- 1. The branch of PHYSICS which deals with electric charges at rest is CALLED electricity. 2. Types of electricity:- i) static electricity. ii)Current electricity. 3. Application:- i) different types of appliances work on this principle. e.g. cathode Ray tubes, microphones. ii) atomic structure is explained on the basis of this principle.
