Let's do this question with the direct and indirect variation property.

Now, when,

The MARKS are = M, The CANDIDATE secures 504 Marks

When,

The Marks are = 800, The candidate secures 384 Marks

Putting Direct Variation in it;

=》 M : 504 :: 800 : 384

=》 M / 504 = 800 / 384

=》 M = 800 × 504 / 384

=》 M = 25 × 42

=》 M = 1050 Marks
