(in) Phenol on reaction with NaOH produces sodium phenoxide, `C_6H_5ONa`as (C ).
(iv) Sodium phenoxide on reaction with `CO_2`, FOLLOWED acid HYDROLYSIS, Kolbe.s reaction takesplace to give Salicylic acid as (D).
