Mts. displacement-0 Explanation: distance= total covered path so when the athlete RUN around a track 3 times then it means that total distance will be 3*distance in ONE round =3*100 =300 mts. Now, displacement is the shortest path We know that when a body starts from a point which is its initial point and then returns BACK to it i.e. to its final point then it's displacement is said to be 0 therefore, displacement done is this case is also 0 as the athlete comes back to his initial POSITION after 3 ROUNDS.. |
