an athelete takes 2s to reach his maximam speed of 18km/h after starting from rest. what is the magnitude of his average acceleration? |

Answer» firstly, while ATTEMPTING QUESTIONS in physics or in any subject , TRY to find out the data that is given . In this case , we have been given u = 0 m/s ( starting from rest ) v = 18 KMPH , converting it into m/s we multiply it by 5/18 we get 5m/s t = 2 sec. now it has asked for average acceleration i.e. EQUAL to (v-u)/(t2-t1 ) putting in the values you get ( 5 - 0)/(2-0) = 5/2=2.5 m/s^2 I hope it helped . |
