  • How much money should  Garima receive? (in Rs)​

Solution :

Let the money received by Garima be Rs. y

∴ Money received by Sameer = Rs. y/5

∴ Money received by Rishi = Rs. 2 * y/5 = Rs. 2Y/5

Now atq,

⇒ 2y/5 + y/5 + y = 992

⇒ (2y + y + 5y)/5 = 992

⇒ 8y = 992 * 5

⇒ 8y = 4960

⇒ y = 4960/8

⇒ y = Rs. 620

Therefore,

Money received by Garima = Rs. 620
