EXPLANATION. The product ot ozonlysis gives the following structre for the ALKENE.  The alkene has been formed the secondary alcohol (Q) by the acid catalysed dehydration. The alcohol (Q) has the structure.  Since the compound (Q) has been formed the unsatured hydrocarbnon `(C_(6)H_(10)`( by oxymercurtion DEMERCURATION. This shows that the compound (P) is an alkyne.
