AB and CD are two parallel chords and O is the centre. If AB = 24 cm,CD=18cm and radius by= 15 cm. Find the distance between the chords,if both the chords are:(i) on the opposite sides of the centre,(ii) on the same side of the centre. |

ON 2 =225−81 ON=12cm Now MN=OM+ON=9+12=21cm |
