8x + 700 = 2700

8x = 2000

So value of first prize = 250

all consecutive prize will be 250 + 25= 275

250 + 50= 300

250 + 75= 325

250 + 100= 350

250 + 125= 375

250 + 150= 400

250 + 175= 425
