Answer» Correct Answer - Option 1 : 25%

Given :

Manufacturing price = 160

Manufacturer’s profit% = 30%

Wholesale dealer’s profit% = 20%

Selling price of Retailer = 312

Formula used:

Profit% = \(\frac{{\left( {Selling\;price - Cost\;price} \right)}}{{Cost\;price}} \times {\rm{\;}}100\)

Calculation :

SP of  Manufacture = \(160\; \times {\rm{\;}}\frac{{130}}{{100}}\)

⇒ 208

SP of wholesale dealer = \(208\; \times {\rm{\;}}\frac{{120}}{{100}}\)

⇒ \(208\; \times {\rm{\;}}\frac{{6}}{{5}}\)

Profit% of Retailer = \(\frac{{\left\{ {312 - \left( {208 \times {\rm{\;}}\frac{6}{5}\;} \right)} \right\} \times {\rm{\;}}100}}{{208 \times {\rm{\;}}\frac{6}{5}}}\)

⇒ 25% (Ans)
