So,
time = \frac{distance}{speed} \\ = > \frac{1}{6} h
Then,
He walk at speed of 8km/h
Speed=8km/h
Distance=1km
Time =D/S
= > \frac{1}{8} h
Now,
We KNOW that,
<klux>AVERAGE</klux> \: speed = \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time \: taken} \\ = > \frac{1 + 1}{ \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{8} }
= > \frac{2}{ \frac{4 + 3}{24} }
= > \frac{2 \times 24}{7} \\ = > \frac{48}{7} \\ = > 6.85
Hence,
Average speed=6.85km/h
