(b) `CaOCl_(2)+H_(2)SO_(4)rarr CaSO_(4) + Cl_(2)(g)+H_(2)O`
`Cl_(2)` (Chlorine) gas is evolbed during this reaction.
(c) (i) It is used for bleaching of wool and cotton in textile INDUSTRY.
(ii) For disinfectiong of drinking WATER.
