Answer» SOLUTION :(a) Gamma Rays , USE : Treatment of cancer tumours. (b) (i) Displacement current but no conduction current : Displacement current exists whenever there is a change of ELECTRIC flux since electric CHARGES do not flow through the insulation from one plate of a capacitor to other . So , there is no current inside the capacitor . (ii) Conduction current but no displacement current :It is a current which arises due to flow of electronsin conductors .When a capacitor is connected to a battery , it starts storing charge due to conduction current . Hence , there is no displacement current in the wires OUTSIDE the capacitors.
